OUR CSR ACTIVITIES
Our HARSH GROUP is organizing regularly Free Eye Screening & Check-Up Camp under the project SUNETRA (A welfare unit of DIC, Rangapara and SM-GS, B.Chariali) in association with Guwahati Lions Eye Hospital, Guwahati. Aim of our group is to make the North Eastern part of India, free from all type of eye diseases.
The 1st Free Eye Screening Camp was inaugurated by Mrs.Sanyukta Parasar (SP, Tezpur, Assam). It was organized at Rangapara in 2014; where 110 cataract operations were performed. 700 patients were screened and 75 were operated at Guwahati Lions Eye Hospital at Guwahati. Free power glasses and free medicines also distributed.
The 2nd Free Eye Screening Camp and operation camp was inaugurated by Sri Pallav Jha (DC, Biswanath Chariali, Assam). It was organised at Biswanath Chariali (Distt-Sonitpur) Assam 850 patients were screened and 120 were operated at Guwahati Lions Eye Hospital at Guwahati. Free power glasses and free medicines also distributed.

The 3rd Free Screening camp was inaugurated by Sri Baneswar Talukdar, the Principal of Rangapara College along with Mrs. Girija Talukdar, Head of Assamese Department at Rangapara College. In this camp, 180 cases of cataract surgery detected among 650 patients, which are programmed for free surgery at Guwahati in 9 batches between 11/3/16 to 7/4/16. 175 Patients will be provided free spectacles on 20/3/16 and medicines were distributed free of cost to the rest on the camp day.
Our group supports Ekal Vidyalaya Movement since long back. It is a format of single teacher special school having 30 students maximum in a class and operates in remote areas of India. Mrs. Hema Malini(Film actress) is the brand ambassador of Ekal Vidyalaya Movement.
